NFL’s Carl Nassib And Danish Olympic Swimmer Søren Dahl Announce Coupledom On Instagram
When NFL player Carl Nassib came out, many hopeful gay men were excited he was on the market and a viable option. That, however, is no longer the case! In an Instagram photo shared by Olympic swimmer Søren Dahl, the NFL player is seen to be wrapped in an embrace with Dahl in what seems to be an official couple announcement.

Carl Nassib came out in an Instagram video on June 22, 2021 where he made a touching statement addressing the need to protect and support LGBTQIA+ youth. The video announcement made Nassib the first openly gay active NFL player in history.
Since coming out, Carl Nassib has more or less kept his romantic life private. That was until a post appeared on Søren Dahl’s feed seeming to announce the couple’s involvement. Søren Dahl is a Danish swimmer who competed at the Olympics in 2016 and is now a swimmer and diver for the NC state team.
The post on Instagram shows Dahl and Nassib across six images and a video with the pair hugging or posing beside each other as well as various shots of Dahl wearing an NFL jersey with Carl Nassib’s number on it. The caption reads “Always Big Boy Season” referencing the popular sound snippet from SZA’s SNL song Big Boys.
