Netflix Set To Release New Gay Romance Movie “Nuovo Olimpo”
Turkish-Italian director Ferzan Özpetek will helm a new Netflix project Nuovo Olimpo which will be filmed in Rome and feature hot young actors Damiano Gavino and Andrea Di Luigi, reports Instinct.

Nuovo Olimpo marks Özpetek’s fourteenth feature film and his first collaboration with Netflix. At the Venice Film Festival, he won the AMFAR Courage Award celebrating his platforming of queer characters in films such as Ignorant Fairies and Loose Cannons, reports Instinct.
Speaking about the story of Nuovo Olimpo, he says, “Two 25-year-old men who meet by chance, fall madly in love, and are then separated due to an unexpected event. For the next thirty years they pursue the hope of finding each other again.”
Playing these two characters is Damiano Gavino and Andrea Di Luigi. Damiano Gavino is a young actor known primarily for his roles in Un Professore and Shake – Shakespeare In Teen. Playing his lover, Andrea Di Luigi who is known for his appearances in Colpa Del Mare and La Confessione.
Joining Gavino and Di Luigi in this softly romantic queer film is Italian actors Alvise Rigo and Giancarlo Commare. The actresses involved are Luisa Ranieri, Greta Scarano and Aurora Giovinazzo. With the film in production, it’s still to be announced which roles they will have, but with Özpetek running direction it is sure to be a well-told romance.
