Season one of Minx introduced us to ambitious feminist journalist Joyce. It also introduced us to a refreshing amount of full-frontal male nudity. The new season promises to be raunchier than ever as we delve back into the erotic pages of Minx.
Minx Magazine reminds us of DNA!
Minx follows Joyce Prigger, a magazine editor with dreams of running a feminist publication. When Joyce meets seedy porn publisher Doug, the two form an unlikely business together merging serious feminist text with porn for the female gaze.
Ophelia Lovibond, who plays Joyce, and Jake Johnson, who plays Doug, will return for another season on July 21. This season sees Doug’s publication Bottom Dollar sell to a retired shipping magnate leading to commercial success for Minx. As Joyce starts to lose sight of her original mission with Minx, Doug struggles to find a place in the new business hierarchy, reports Collider.
Along the way, Minx season 2 promises lots more laughs and, arguably its biggest draw, more d*ck! Tune in on Starz July 21 for the premier.
