“I don’t only want to play queer roles”
Koch grew up in Woodland Hills. He finished his acting degree at Pace School of Performing Arts in New York City in May 2018. Now, he calls Los Angeles home.
Koch works hard to get different roles. He told Edge Media Network, “There’s a lot of roles that I go out for that don’t identify as gay.” This shows his range as an actor.

Growing up wasn’t always easy for Koch. He faced bullying as a kid. But he’s learned to deal with it. He says:
“I’ve been through bullying when I was a kid. I’ve been fired from a pilot because of it. But I also don’t tolerate it anymore. I just will turn the other way and walk away.”
Koch stands up for himself now. He won’t work with people who judge him for how he talks or moves.
