Lane has built his entire career on this register. He is openly gay, married to Rodrigo Aburto since August 2023, and has spent years turning very specific gay experiences into material that reads wide. His latest stand-up special The Al Dente Special arrived on Hulu in 2025, his cookbook Your Pasta Sucks came out the same year, and he still somehow finds time to go viral every few weeks.
