Manu Kornisiuk Appreciation Post: Why We’re Obsessed With This Multi-Talented Hunk
There’s a new face heating the RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars werk room, and he’s a very welcome addition to the Pit Crew. And if you’re anything like us, your first thought was, “Okay, who is he?”
That, friends, is Manuel Kornisiuk, and we’re happy to say he’s an old friend of DNA. Here’s a little appreciation post for the man everyone is talking about.
So who is the new guy heating up the werk room?.
While he might be a new face to some Drag Race viewers, Manuel (or Manúk, his musical stage name) has been one to watch for a while. He’s an Argentinian-born actor, singer, and model who has built a career from the ground up.

He originally comes from a small city, Santa Rosa, and has spoken before about feeling like he didn’t quite fit in, driving him to find new places. That search eventually led him to move to Australia, where he worked as a bartender, personal trainer, and even a dancer before his creative career took off.
More than just a (very) pretty face.
It is easy to get distracted by the looks, but Manuel is a true multi-threat. As an actor, you might recognise him as Hunter Rodriguez from the 2023 LGBTQIA+ camp-thriller The Winner Takes It All.
As a musician, Manúk creates a smooth mix of pop and R&B. His recent single “Dirty Laundry” explores the complicated side of a breakup. He told Gayety in an interview, “I wanted to explore that darker part of a relationship, the stuff that sticks to you.”
He has always been a DNA favourite.
At DNA, we’ve been following Manuel’s career for years. He’s a hard worker, incredibly talented, and genuinely a great person. We’ve been lucky to feature his work and photoshoots, and we’re thrilled to see him getting this huge, mainstream recognition.

What’s next for Manu?.
Appearing on All Stars was something he actively pursued. He mentioned that he had tried out for the Pit Crew on the New Zealand version of the show but didn’t get it. When this new opportunity appeared, he was ready.
He’s also been open about his identity and using his platform. In a past interview, he shared his belief that “we need to be loud, and we need to like show ourselves. Be proud of it.”
We could not agree more. We love to see him winning.
