“I Was Actually A Little Bit Jealous Of You.” Madonna Meets Kylie Minogue On Graham Norton.

Madonna sat down with Graham Norton for an hour-long special on Friday 26 June, filmed at Koko in Camden, to promote her new album Confessions II (out 3 July). Then Kylie Minogue turned up behind the bar, the collaboration rumours started flying, and Madonna refused to give a straight answer. Two divas, one very happy host.

A surprise barmaid named Kylie

The venue was no accident. Koko, formerly the Camden Palace, is where Madonna launched the first Confessions on a Dance Floor back in 2005. This time the twist was Kylie, who popped up to serve drinks while Madonna held court.

Kylie played it sweet. Madonna played it grand. “I feel like I’ve died and gone to gay heaven,” Norton sighed, and honestly, same.

Is Kylie on Confessions II?

That’s the question fans actually want answered, and Norton went straight for it. “There are rumours that Kylie is on Confession II. Is this you confirming that rumour?” Kylie stayed quiet.

Madonna smiled and told him, “Why do you have to know everything? You’re very nosy.” When he said asking was his job, she shot back, “It’s my job to be mysterious.”

So is it real? Probably not. Kylie has already said in public that she is not on the record, calling the speculation “a random thing.” For now, the duet stays a rumour.

Madonna’s Kylie confession

The sweetest moment was Madonna admitting to a little envy.

“I was actually a little bit jealous of you,” she told Kylie. “She’s so cute. I think my ex-husband at the time had a crush on her. I was like, I’ll never be as beautiful as Kylie.”

From Madonna, that’s basically a love letter.

The two have history. In 2024, Kylie joined Madonna on stage at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles during the Celebration tour, where they duetted on Can’t Get You Out of My Head and I Will Survive for International Women’s Day.

What Madonna teased next

Confessions II is her 15th studio album and her first since Madame X in 2019. Sabrina Carpenter features on the track Bring Your Love. Madonna also hinted she could finally play Glastonbury in 2027, promising “something bigger” once the promo run is done. Our verdict? Bring the album. Then bring Kylie.
