Luke Evans Joins Eliad Cohen For “One Time Lover” And It’s A Message To Your Worst Ex
If you’ve ever had to block a number, delete the photos, and pretend you’re fine, DJ Eliad Cohen and actor-singer Luke Evans have a new soundtrack for that reset. The pair have teamed up on One Time Lover, a dance track that leans into the relief of leaving a toxic situation behind.
A dance track built for the dancefloor
Cohen says One Time Lover has been a long time coming, partly because the friendship came first. “Luke and I have been good friends for many years. The coolest thing ever is that we just released this song and people were singing the lyrics at my last party,” he told Out.
So why did Luke Evans jump in?
Evans credits Cohen’s instincts and came on board quickly once he heard the idea. “Eliad is one of the most creative people I know. He came with the song and I was in!” Evans said, adding that he trusted Cohen to “come up with something special.”
If the timing feels busy, that’s because it is. Evans has also been talking up his Broadway debut as Dr Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Show at Studio 54.
Zero attitude, please!
Cohen is also selling the vibe, not just the song. He describes his parties as a place where “energy” matters and “zero attitude” is the rule. “Once you enter and feel this energy, you just want to celebrate life!” he said.
One Time Lover is streaming now on major platforms, and Cohen has also teased more music on the way, including a new album aimed at the coming party season.
