Luke Evans Gets Wet, Sings His Heart Out, And Reminds Us Why We’re Still Watching
Luke Evans has had a busy few years. Between starring in action flicks, launching a men’s underwear brand, and casually posting thirst traps with partner Fran Tomas, you’d be forgiven for forgetting the man can actually sing. But with his latest single, Only One Of You, he’s made sure we don’t.
The video dropped earlier this week, and it’s very sweet. Set on a yacht that looks expensive enough to have its own postcode, the scene opens with Evans looking very relaxed, very shirtless, and very on pitch.
He’s joined by a crew of bronzed friends, including Tomas, lounging and leaping into the ocean, all in barely-there swimwear that’s likely BDXY, though no one’s zooming in for tags.
There are actually two versions of the video, both serving different levels of mood and skin. The track itself leans into smooth, catchy pop with a romantic feel that’s hard not to like. With lyrics like, “There’s only one of you, there’s only one of me,” Evans keeps it simple and sincere.
The vibe is playful but polished. No big-budget distractions, just good lighting, a clear voice, and enough bare skin to keep your thumb from scrolling away. There’s even a moment where he sings directly into camera, alone on a shady path, still shirtless, still giving main-character energy.
Evans first showed off his vocal range playing Gaston in Beauty And The Beast, and later on his debut album At Last. Now with Only One Of You, he’s stepping into original material and it suits him. He posted on Instagram, “Only One Of You is OUT NOW… A very awesome house version is also available mixed by the brilliant @rosaneamaral.”
We get it, Luke. You sing, you act, you design underwear!
Only One Of You is available to stream on all major platforms. Expect easy listening, a few goosebumps, and maybe a new obsession.
