“Love, Venezia” — A Seductive Tale Of Romance In The Heart Of Italy
NSFW: This film is a celebration of love’s enduring power, resonating deeply with every viewer.
Venice’s canals set the scene for a hot new film. Love, Venezia is making waves with its fresh trailer. The movie tells a tale of two men who meet by chance in Italy’s city of love.
A story for everyone’s heart
Steve Balderson, the film’s creator, says it’s more than just a romance. He calls it a “sexy, gay love story” that digs into who we are. The film looks at how we find ourselves and learn to be okay with who we are.
Broadway star Daniel Bateman and Alexander Ananasso, who is both Italian and British, play the main roles. They’re not the only big names, though. Mink Stoles, famous for working with John Waters, shows up, too. You might know her from films like Pink Flamingos and Serial Mom.
Balderson shared more about his work: “This film is close to my heart. It’s about love and how people connect. Venice makes it feel timeless.” He thinks everyone will find something in the story that speaks to them.
Mark your calendars for September 2024. Love, Venezia will close out Cinema Diverse, Palm Springs’ LGBTQIA+ Film Festival. If you miss that, don’t worry. It’ll be in cinemas around the world in 2025.
This film promises to be a treat for those who love romance, beautiful cities, and stories about finding oneself. Keep an eye out for Love, Venezia – it might just be your next favourite movie.
