Let’s Give A Hand (Or Orifice) To Our BIG GayVN Award Winners
The GayVN Awards are an annual event hosted in Las Vegas to celebrate the work of gay adult entertainment performers. The event has been running since 1998 and involves awards for performers that highlight best scenes, fan favourites, best newcomer, etc.
And the awards go to…
This year the GayVN awards were hosted by popular performer Cade Maddox – who actually took home Favourite Top – and actor Alec Mapa. The event was hosted in Las Vegas as always and boasted an impressive crowd of fans, performers and studio crew.
One of the most coveted trophies is the Performer Of The Year Award, which went to Rhyheim Shabazz. He’s credited as the first gay adult entertainer to reach over one million followers on X and tells Out, “It’s like when Serena went for that grand slam! It’s a goal.”
Fans are most likely familiar with Austin Wolf, who took home two fan favourite awards: Favourite Dom and Favourite Porn Star Creator. He spoke with Ricky Cornish on the red carpet and said, “I am dedicated. I like my work, I like being an example… It’s about setting a bar and setting an example and it’s about showing that there is no glass ceiling.”
Another big winner in the fan favourite categories was newcomer Drake Von who was awarded Favourite Twink and Favourite C*ck. “It’s just been such a good year. I’ve met so many new people. This industry has been so nice to me and I love it. I couldn’t ask for anything more,” Von says.
Having been in the industry for just one year, Derek Kage took home two significant awards: Best Newcomer and Best Leading Actor for his role in Overdrive.
