“Beyond the Box” is about artists having to crop and censor some of the best images in male fashion and fitness photography in order to post to social media. We know fashion models such as David Gandy, Christian Hogue and Michael Yerger are not shy when it comes to shooting full frontal nudity. They each represent famous brands and I can respect their professional limitations. I do admire these models for pushing the boundaries with clever poses and their photographers for artistic composition and creative cropping to protect the model’s modesty. I always wondered about the best bits that end up “on the cutting room floor.”
