Kamala Harris Charms Millennials With Lance Bass TikTok Duet
Vice President Kamala Harris, now the likely Democratic nominee for president, has made a splash on TikTok. Her recent video with Lance Bass, a former NSYNC member, has gone viral.
“What’s our message to Trump this November?” Bass asks in the clip.
Harris replies, “Bye, bye, bye,” referencing NSYNC’s hit song.
The video has gained over 3 million likes and 37 million views in just two days. Many users called it “iconic.”
“She just won the millennial vote”
On X (formerly Twitter), the video spread quickly. One user noted how Harris might have secured millennial support with this move.
Bass, who came out in 2006, shared the video on Instagram. He praised Harris, saying, “She has always stood for everything that is right and good.”
Harris joined TikTok recently. Her team also shared a video of her visit to the set of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Campaign Boost and Community Support
Since becoming the likely nominee, Harris has helped raise $200 million in campaign funds. This has given Democrats new hope for November.
Many groups have voiced their support for Harris. They point to her long-standing support for their causes.
The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) organized a call that drew 25,000 people and raised $300,000 for Harris.
HRC President Kelley Robinson said, “We’re choosing between two different futures for our country.”
