“Julián works as draughtsman in Madrid, where he moved from his native Córdoba to earn a living,” says photographer Jon Ariza de Miguel. “He goes very frequently to the gym in order to cope with life in the big city and away from the nature he loves so much; he therefore also tries to travel abroad as often as possible for the same reason.”
Jon says, “Julián and I spent several days together in my place and from the start we agreed that I’d be camera-ready all along, so I could profit off any inspiring moment I noticed to convert it into a proper shot. He is the most easy-going guy I have met in ages, and we tried to make the most of this. His ideas went often beyond the publishable, it was not easy to hold him back.”
