Fans of the royal family and gossip got the blind item to end all blind items via infamous Instagram account DeuxMois. The unsubstantiated item made mention of a British royal who allegedly had an affair because he allegedly enjoys getting pegged and his wife wasn’t into delivering! The internet was predictably thrown into a spin with conclusions jumping, allegedly, straight to HRH Prince William, reports Rolling Stone.
With the scandalous gossip circulating in the media, a spike in internet searches on “pegging” has been noted. Is Prince William’s alleged kink changing the hearts and minds of straight men everywhere?

We reiterate that there is no evidence that this blind item is true, let alone that it’s about Prince William. DeuxMoi claims to have received an anonymous tip-off saying, “At a recent media party, I was told the real reason for the affair was the royal’s love of pegging, which his wife is far too old-fashioned to engage in. Rolling Stone reports that the term “pegging” has gone up in searches by 400% since the rumour broke. According to sex and intimacy coach Ashley Manta, more men are opening up [giggle] to being pegged as the act is becoming destigmatised.
“More heterosexual men are unlearning their shame-based biases around receptive anal, and more heterosexual women are becoming empowered by the depictions of pegging they’re witnessing in popular media,” says Manta.
The mass hysteria over HRH, allegedly, potentially, liking being pegged has lead to many to explore what it is and whether they’d be interested. Pedestrian reports boomers are one group that are heading to Google en masse to search up the phenomenon. Could a new generation of straight men be considering pegging?
Of course, it is all conjecture but if the mere rumour of a royal being pegged is enough to inspire this much interest, there must be a few who are inspired to give it a go themselves. We don’t kink-shame people who are trying new things and having new experiences.
