Hudson Williams has kept his private life mostly off-limits, which is why his Valentine’s Day update landed with a thud and a grin. On 14 February, the Heated Rivalry star shared an Instagram Stories photo collage featuring his girlfriend, including mirror selfies and a playful shot of her lying across him on a bed. He added a red heart emoji and the message, “Happy Valentine’s Day.”

He still did not name her, but he hinted the relationship has been steady for a while, writing that she’s been “with me since my 2000 gold Mazda Protégé smoked and squealed and I had no job.”

So who is the mystery girlfriend?

For now, she’s still anonymous, by choice. Williams did not tag her, share her name, or offer any details beyond what showed up in the collage. That restraint feels consistent with how he’s handled attention since the show’s popularity spiked.

And yes, he still saved a heart for Connor Storrie

Williams also slipped in a cheeky nod to his co-star, sharing a photo of his girlfriend sitting in a restaurant booth next to Storrie, with a red heart drawn around Storrie’s face. It’s the kind of blink-and-you-miss-it post that plays nicely with the internet’s obsession with the pair, especially since Storrie plays Ilya Rozanov, the rival and secret love interest to Williams’ character Shane Hollander.

Why fans are watching this closely

With Heated Rivalry built around a long-running, secret romance between two hockey stars, the line between on-screen chemistry and off-screen speculation has been messy. The series is adapted from Rachel Reid’s Game Changers novels and streams on Crave and HBO Max.

Williams has pushed back on gossip before. After a rumour about a “secret tattoo artist girlfriend” circulated via DeuxMoi’s podcast, he wrote in a since-deleted post, “I’ve grown quite unfond of you deuxmoi,” as reported by Variety. He also told Deadline he wants “a level of privacy.”
