“He Was Loved By Many And Will Be Missed” – Adult Star Koby Falks Dies At 39
The adult performer known for his charisma, openness and creative spark has passed away.
The Australian adult content community is mourning the death of Koby Falks, who passed away on 28 May, aged 39. Behind the camera and content, Koby was known to his family and friends as Anthony Cox.
His passing was confirmed yesterday via his social media accounts and a post from his long-time publicist, Matthew Leigh of Mista PR. “He was loved by many and will be missed,” read the official post.
Tributes for a man who made connection his art
Over the past few days, fans and fellow creators alike have shared tributes online, reflecting on the unexpected loss. If your feed has recently filled with creators encouraging open conversations around mental health, this is why.
Koby’s impact wasn’t limited to the screen. With hundreds of thousands of followers across X, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, he built a strong and lasting bond with his audience.
Leigh, who managed Koby’s career for years, wrote, “He was organised, kind-hearted, and deeply respectful, the kind of person you instantly felt grateful to work with.” He described Koby as “a light, a creative force, and a genuinely beautiful soul.”
Behind the camera, a man unmasking
A week before his death, Koby shared a vulnerable post on Instagram. The photo showed a younger version of himself, along with a caption that read: “No more masks. No more performance. Just me, as I am. Raw. Real. Free.”
He added, “Turns out, the scariest thing wasn’t being rejected — it was being seen.”
It was the kind of honesty his followers had come to expect from him, raw, self-aware, and unapologetically human.
Koby is featured in DNA #305.
What now, and what next?
At DNA, we know how rare it is to find someone in adult content who builds genuine, lasting trust with an audience. Koby did that and more. He shared his beauty, his body, and most powerfully, his truth.
We send our thoughts to his loved ones and to everyone who found a piece of themselves in Koby’s work. As his final post reminds us, “You don’t have to be a symbol. Just be you.”
