Gay Porn Star Devin Franco Is An ICE Informant Now?

We’ve all learned to separate the performer from the person, especially when it comes to the guys we watch on screen. A questionable political take is usually something we can scroll past. But as first reported by Instinct magazine, a recent admission from adult performer Devin Franco has proven to be a step too far for many, causing a firestorm online.

This wasn’t about a new film. Instead, Franco took to X to announce he had become an informant for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE.

The Post That Started It All

In his own words, Franco explained his decision to his nearly half a million followers. He wrote that he submitted a tip to the agency about an old acquaintance who he claims tried to arrange a fraudulent marriage for a green card.

“Wish I could be there when he gets a knock on his door lol,” he concluded.

The reaction was immediate. For many, boasting about collaborating with an agency criticised for its aggressive tactics and family separations felt like a profound betrayal of community values. The backlash was swift, with users unearthing Franco’s old mugshot and calling out the hypocrisy.

From Red Flags to a Red Hat

This move did not happen in a vacuum. Franco has become increasingly vocal about his support for right-wing politics, often aligning himself with MAGA rhetoric. He has described himself as “red-pilled,” a term used by those who say they have been converted to conservative beliefs after “seeing the truth”.

His online activity shows a pattern of engagement that many find disturbing. He has allegedly used racial slurs on his X profile and interacted with posts from white nationalist accounts. According to Instinct‘s report, one post he engaged with showed a man masturbating with the caption, “Watching ICE deport the illegal immigrant I reported.”

For a gay man who built a career within a community that often champions solidarity, diversity and chosen family, these actions have been difficult for fans to reconcile. The question now is whether his fan base will stick around for his next act.
