“Gauthier is a dance student at the Cordarts dance conservatory in Rotterdam (Netherlands), but he’s also pretty active in all sorts of other creative activities,” says photographer Jon Ariza De Miguel. “From design and visual arts to music, Gauthier is interested in many things. I had been ruminating an idea to reproduce a ’60s – ’70s garçonnière or student flat with a funny twist, and nobody could be better than Gauthier to understand it. He pretty quickly understood the concept and controlled the space; that’s where this series came from.”
