Don’t Mess With The Doctor – Posie Parker Discovers How Fierce David Tennant’s Fans Are
Posie Parker, whose real name is Kellie-Jay Keen, is an online anti-trans activist who has landed in hot water with David Tennant fans after she insinuated that he’s a paedophile. In a photo she posted to Twitter/X, Parker shows Tennant wearing a pin in support of transgender rights which reads: “You are safe with me.”
In her caption of this picture, Parker writes, “His pin reads ‘hey little girl do you want to see some puppies?'”
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes I guess
David Tennant is an actor beloved for his roles in Doctor Who and Good Omens with a large fanbase that vocally supports him. Tennant has actively shown support for the LGBTQIA+ community and uses his platform to promote trans rights. Tennant is also the father of a non-binary child and has spoken on his podcast about his love of Pride month and his intention to uphold the queer community.
To cut to the chase, Parker insinuated that the badge that Tennant is wearing in the photo she posted reads: “hey little girl do you want to see some puppies?” The claim is an outright lie, as photos of Tennant wearing this pin during Pride month in London show that it reads: “You are safe with me.”
For those familiar with the internet, Tennant is a beloved figure who has a very large and very serious collection of fans. Some of whom have taken to slamming Parker over the accusation.
