Brotherly Love Inspires Grown Up Version Of “White Lotus” – Welcome To “The Tight Lotus”

Season 3 of The White Lotus was already pushing boundaries, but that infamous threesome brother-on-brother moment? It blew the doors off. The fallout? A full-blown adult parody called The Tight Lotus, and Patrick Schwarzenegger found out the hard way.

During a gym visit, someone casually mentioned it to him. “He goes, ‘It’s Tight Lotus—he’s playing you,’” Patrick told W Magazine. “I was like, ‘Oh my god!’”

The Original Scene: A New TV Taboo

Patrick plays Saxon Ratliff, rich, smug, always shirtless, and casually problematic. The scene? His younger brother Lochlan (Sam Nivola) helps him out with a handjob mid-threesome while their female partner watches on. It’s messy.

The moment sparked viral tweets, Reddit threads, and even think pieces about incest and intimacy. But for most of us, it was just another “WTF HBO?” moment in a franchise built on uncomfortable decadence.

Enter The Tight Lotus

Men.com jumped on the hype, producing The Tight Lotus starring Seth Peterson and Ryan Orion. The parody ditches subtlety for, well, exactly what you think. Its tagline? “Tanya McQuoid would be so proud of how these guys are spending their time at The Tight Lotus.” Honestly, she probably would be.

A description on IMDb sums it up bluntly: “Two young, fit party guys, abandoned by two party girls, carry on with each other in a room bathed in sensuous red light.” Not quite Mike White’s writing, but close enough.

How Patrick Got Here (And Why He’s Fine With It)

Patrick auditioned five times for The White Lotus. The final test? The incest scene. He even rehearsed it with his real-life brother, Christopher. “He said the line, ‘I didn’t force your brother to jerk you off.’ Christopher was like, ‘What happens in this?!’” Not your usual sibling bonding experience.

But Patrick didn’t flinch. Despite playing what could have been another forgettable rich boy, he brought depth to Saxon. Somehow, between overpriced yoga mats and spiritual gaslighting, viewers warmed to him. Maybe it’s the abs. Maybe it’s the eyes. Maybe it’s because he said yes to that scene and didn’t look back.

Beyond the Buzzcut and Body Oil

Patrick’s not coasting on his dad’s name. He studied business at USC. He’s taken serious roles in Gen V and The Staircase. He does weekly theatre classes. He drinks terrifying amounts of coffee. He’s self-aware and doesn’t mind laughing at the chaos.

“I was probably the least profitable customer for the Four Seasons,” he joked about filming in Thailand. “I don’t think they’ll ever have me back.”

It means The White Lotus continues to be appointment television for anyone who loves chaos served with a side of luxury. It also proves Patrick Schwarzenegger might be the most unexpected breakout star of the season, especially now that someone’s playing him in an adult parody.
