As I approach my 39th birthday next week; boy do I have an important life update to share. For those who’ve been wondering where I’ve been, and what I’ve been up to these past few years, here goes…
A fight for his life.
The situation was serious. Corrigan wrote that hospital staff “weren’t able to register any brain activity” for a time. He credits his recovery to “some strange miracle” and the “incredible hospital staff.” After the incident, he had to relearn basic functions, including how to walk and eat. He was eventually discharged months later to “rejoin the living.”

A name you might remember.
Corrigan was one of the biggest names in the gay adult industry in the 2000s. His early life was famously dramatised in the 2016 film King Cobra, which starred Garrett Clayton as Corrigan, alongside James Franco and Christian Slater. Corrigan himself declined to participate in that film. He stated at the time he would rather release his own book “in place of taking part in someone else’s presentation of events that I personally lived.”
At DNA, we have featured him multiple times over the years, from photo shoots to interviews, including a revealing chat in DNA #176.

What he is doing now.
Corrigan says “a lot has been different” since the health scare. In recent years, he has acted in independent films and been a vocal critic of exploitation within the adult film industry. Now focused on recovery, he is back to enjoying life, including riding horses. He also hinted at his social life, writing, “if you know where to look, you can still find me having a good time on the weekends.”
