Anthony Ammirati’s Viral Bulge Mishap Leads To $250,000 Adult Cam Show Offer
The Olympic Games often catapult athletes to global stardom, leading to lucrative endorsement deals. But for French pole vaulter Anthony Ammirati, it was a different kind of exposure that caught the attention of an adult entertainment company.
During Saturday’s pole vault event, Ammirati’s sizable package accidentally grazed the crossbar, sending it crashing down and eliminating him from the competition. The video of his bulge-induced mishap quickly went viral on social media.
Adult site CamSoda approached Ammirati with a unique offer: $250,000 for a one-hour cam show. In a letter to the athlete, CamSoda VP Daryn Parker wrote, “Although you didn’t bring home the gold medal, you can still capture the gold from your fans via CamSoda.”
Parker even joked about Ammirati’s tight compression shorts, suggesting he “let it all out” during the proposed cam show.
While some Olympians like diver Jack Laugher and rower Robbie Manson have found success on platforms like OnlyFans, Ammirati has not yet responded to CamSoda’s offer. The pole vaulter is likely still processing his emotions following the elimination.
Meanwhile, in his TikTok account, Ammirati pokes fun at his own viral moment. The 21-year-old athlete is seen munching on a pizza slice, staring into the void, with the caption: “POV: You make more buzz for your package than for your performances.” The video has racked up over 6.7 million views (and counting), with fans assuring him that an internet win is still a win, even if it cost him a shot at Olympic gold.
