“The Wrong Paris” Has Us Asking, Who Is Pierson Fode, And When Can He Wash Our Horse?
A new romantic comedy has landed on Netflix called The Wrong Paris. It stars Miranda Cosgrove and Pierson Fodé and has quickly become the internet’s latest obsession. Let’s be honest though, it’s not the story everyone is talking about.
First, what is the movie even about.
The premise is a classic rom-com mix-up. Cosgrove plays a woman who believes she is heading to a dating competition in France, only to land in Paris, Texas. Her goal is to get eliminated from the show as quickly as possible, but her plans are complicated by the charming bachelor at the centre of it all, played by Fodé. It’s a simple setup for predictable but fun chaos and chemistry.

Now for the part everyone is talking about…
The film includes several scenes where Fodé appears shirtless, and one moment involving him washing a horse has generated significant online chatter. Viewers on X have been direct with their praise. One user noted the film’s solid romance before adding, “Oh, and Pierson Fodé has quite a few shirtless scenes lol.” Another simply commented that the film was “awesommeeeee.” The online verdict seems clear.

And yes, you have definitely seen him before.
If you’re trying to place where you know him from, Fodé has built a solid career. Many will recognise him from his two-time Daytime Emmy-nominated role as Thomas Forrester on The Bold And The Beautiful. He also appeared alongside Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson in the action film The Man From Toronto and, notably, played a gay character in the queer rom-com Naomi And Ely’s No Kiss List. He has a history of choosing interesting roles between his modelling and acting work.
If you’re looking for a light and enjoyable watch, The Wrong Paris delivers exactly what it promises. It combines a funny concept with the kind of on-screen appeal that makes a movie memorable. You can stream it now on Netflix.
