“Love And Support To All The Trans And Gay People” From Amyl And The Sniffers
Amy Taylor, dynamic lead singer of the hot-right-now Australian punk band Amyl And The Sniffers, made an inspiring political statement at the end of the band’s Coachella appearance.
“I just wanna say, it’s a super-tough time all across America,” said Amy, “and I want to extend my love and support to all the trans people and all the gay people,” to a roar of approval from the audience.
She continued, “And all the Black people and all the immigrants legal and illegal, and everybody else including women and the fucking men because everyone is getting fucked up from it… and you know exactly what I’m talking about.
“And I want to extend my heart to the people in Palestine and Ukraine, because fuck dying in any capacity and fuck getting murdered by other people for bullshit.”
