Sean Palmieri Reveals The Truth Behind Selling The OC’s Steamy Rumors

Sean Palmieri in Selling the OC (Netflix)

If you’re not familiar with the drama, here’s what’s happened…

Sean Palmieri, the bisexual star of Selling The OC, a reality TV show about real-estate agents on Netflix, is not backing down from his accusations about co-stars Tyler Stanaland and Austin Victoria flirting with him.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Sean clarified the timeline of events and the involvement of other cast members, like Polly Brindle, in creating the drama that unfolded during season 3.

Sean revealed that he was encouraged to skip the recent group interviews with the entire cast. “It was a choice that was recommended to me,” he told ET. “I think that if I was there, I would have really shut it down, immediately. But I think it’s really good to let people speak what they want to say, and then I will come back with the facts.”

Texts, Lies, and Videotapes

Sean showed text messages to ET to clarify the night he supposedly almost had a threesome with Austin and his wife. The texts revealed that Sean never went to Austin and Lisa’s house for dinner, but instead shared sushi with Austin at a nearby restaurant and briefly visited their home to play video games.

Another text message confirmed that Sean attempted to set the record straight with Austin about the rumors, but Austin never followed through with a promised phone call.

“I Think Austin Thought I Was an Easy Target”

Sean called out Austin for making the drama public, even though Sean wanted to talk privately. “If you don’t want your family involved, why bring it on screen, Austin?” Sean asked.

He added, “Austin thought I was an easy target. I keep it classy and chill. But he quickly saw that if he wanted to go there, I wasn’t the one or the two.”

Sean also talked about his rocky relationship with Polly Brindle, hinting that she might’ve started the rumor in season 3. He distanced himself from Polly after seeing her “negativity” on and off-camera after the first season.

The show has a viewer approval rating of 1.6 stars. It’s a good thing these boys are pretty.
