Nobody Could Accuse Nicholas Galitzine Of Not Having Range After “Bottoms” Clips Release

We all know and love Nicholas Galitzine from his performance as Prince Henry in Red, White And Royal Blue. His other recent role in the comedy Bottoms is a far cry from the romantic palace dances in RWRB though.

In clips of the movie, it appears Nicholas plays an American jock pleading with his girlfriend a lá male manipulator.

Be So For Real, Where Did That Accent Come From? It’s So Convincing!

Every straight woman under the sun (and gays too) have had to deal with the experience of a toxic boyfriend mansplaining and minimising a situation after being caught being in the wrong. Honestly, we wouldn’t mind too much if it were Nicholas Galitzine doing the deed.

Bottoms is an LGBTQIA+ teen comedy about two friends starting up a fight club at their school in the hopes of raising their social status. Nicholas plays airhead jock Jeff and, in the short clips we can see, he perfectly captures the stereotype.

In all fairness, this wouldn’t be the first time Nicholas has played a meathead jock. In The Craft: Legacy he plays bully Timmy Andrews who, before a little creative spell-casting, throws his weight around and makes lewd and unwarranted sexual remarks towards women. His performances in The Craft and Bottoms is pretty good and nobody can accuse him of not having range.

In Cinderella, he plays a charming prince who wins the heart of the ambitious protagonist. In RWRB, he plays the emotionally-vulnerable and tender royal who stands up to the institution that says he can’t love who he wants. In Handsome Devil, he plays a closeted athlete navigating his sexuality amid the homophobic culture of his sport.

In Bottoms… well, he says, “I’m sorry I looked at Mrs Riley and lightly grazed her left tit, alright?” A true gem in the crown of his acting career.
