Luke Macfarlane Will Grace Our Screens In Another Queer RomCom Called “Notes Of Autumn”
As part of Hallmark’s Fall Into Love season, Bros star Luke Macfarlane will star in a new queer romcom called Notes Of Autumn, coming out September 16.

Every year, Hallmark releases a series of Fall-themed movies and Notes Of Autumn will be part of 2023’s collection. The movie follows classical pianist Ellie and her best friend Leo who is an author. After the two decide to swap houses for the season to get a change of scenery, Leo strikes up a friendship with Matt.
Joining Macfarlane in the cast is Ashley Williams, Marcus Rosner and Peter Porte. Hallmark prides themselves on creating feel-good, easy-to-follow love stories and, as of recently, they have begun to release movies with LGBTQIA+ romances. Although Hallmark films have featured queer side characters, it was only in 2022 that a major story focused on a gay story.
Macfarlane will be playing main character Leo and his on-screen beau Matt will be played by Peter Porte, best-known for portraying Ricky Williams on The Young And The Restless. With two seasoned actors helming the role, and Hallmark’s classic feel-good romcom smarts, Notes Of Autumn is looking like the perfect movie to curl up with during pumpkin-spice season.
