Throwback To Cristiano Ronaldo’s Sexy Mannequin Challenge

Cristiano Ronaldo (CR7 Underwear)

It may not have seemed it then, but 2016 was a purer time for the internet with viral trends like carpool karaoke, Lip-Sync Battle and Pokemon Go. One such viral trend was the mannequin challenge performed to Rae Sremmurd’s Black Beatles – a trend that Portugal’s national football team tackled with a shirtless Cristiano Ronaldo, reports Give Me Sport.

A PERFECT EXCUSE TO THROWBACK TO A NEAR-NUDE CRISTIANO

One of the more wholesome elements of the internet include people’s creativity when engaging with viral trends. The mannequin challenge saw thousands of people standing, sitting and posing frozen mannequin-style, some single videos sometimes contained over a hundred motionless people.

Portugal’s national football team in 2016 also engaged with the trend showing teammates in various tableaus of stretching, chatting or, in Cristiano Ronaldo’s case, getting undressed.

Internet trends had more longevity six years ago relative to 2022’s rapid-fire content, so taking a look back, even six years ago, feels like opening a time capsule to trends since passed. It also provides the perfect opportunity to revisit Ronaldo’s ripped physique.

Although trends have come and gone, music tastes have evolved and time has moved on, there’s one thing that doesn’t seem to have changed much; Cristiano Ronaldo is still in great shape. Seeing that he launched his underwear brand CR7 in 2013 and it’s still going strong, it’s likely there will be plenty more opportunities to see the soccer captain in the buff.
