Up Close And Personal With Matthew Mitcham

Australia’s out gay gold medal Olympians don’t get more adorable than Matthew Mitcham. If you’ve only ever seen him plummeting from the 10-metre diving board in tiny speedos, now’s your chance to get to know him better.

The ukulele-wielding, award-winning cabaret artist is back with his third show, Up Close And Personal. What can we expect from the new show?

“I talk about sex,” Matt admits frankly to DNA. According to Matt, he spent the past year with his head down and his bum up writing a whole lot of new material. It’s an hour of super-camp songs, untold stories from the Olympic village, and “jokes” based heavily on actual events.

“And don’t forget to mention my very sexy and very single pianist, Matt Ogle,” says Matt. Okay, we will!

This is a one-night-only event so get some mates together and don’t miss Matthew Mitcham Up Close And PersonalSaturday 27 October, 7pm. Bondi Pavilion. Tickets here!
