French media is reporting that a terror attack has been foiled by local police in the suburb of Seine-et-Marne that was specifically aimed at targeting homosexuals.
Two men in their 20s have been arrested are currently being detained awaiting trial in connection with a planned attack.
Police found knives, a firing device and Islamic State propaganda during raids.
While the details of their plot are vague, sources close to the investigation told AFP that the attack was planned against the gay community:
“Their plan remains unclear at this stage, but there is evidence to suggest they are targeting homosexuals.” The source revealed.
