“I Was Told By A Lot Of People I’d Made A Mistake.” Ezra Miller On Coming Out Gay

In an interview with ShortList Magazine, Flash actor Ezra Miller has opened up about coming out five years ago in Hollywood, explaining that he was told he had made a “mistake”.

“Folks in the industry, folks outside the industry. People I’ve never spoken to. They said there’s a reason so many gay, queer, gender-fluid people in Hollywood conceal their sexual identity, or their gender identity in their public image. I was told I had done a ‘silly’ thing in… thwarting my own potential to be a leading man.”

Further explaining that when he came out he “took the block away, removed the dam. I’ve undammed my identity in the world… I was given a lot of stern talking-tos.”

Miller also spoke about some of his past relationships, “I have been told by a few lovers that I resemble a baby dinosaur. I don’t know how to take that.”

We don’t know how to take that either!
