Study Suggests Semen Can Help Depression

Before we start, let’s get the safe sex message on the table, unprotected sex isn’t always safe, and can lead to STIs, always practice safe sex.

However, Researchers at Indiana University, Chapman University and Claremont University have sampled a selection of sexually active college females condom use and found there is a considerable difference in levels of depression between those who use condoms and those who don’t.

The study found that females who were having sex without condoms were less depressed and depressive symptoms and suicide attempts among females who used condoms were proportional to the consistency of condom use.

The study suggests the cause of the change in depression is linked to the body Absorption of components of semen into the bloodstream.

So effectively this has the potential to work on men too, of course, further studies would need to be conducted… any takers?
