Rami Malek Is Freddie Mercury In The First Look Trailer For ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’

It has taken a long time to get here, the first trailer for Bohemian Rhapsody hit the web this week with Mr. Robot star Rami Malek cast as legendary Queen frontman, Freddie Mercury.
Previously, Sacha Baron Cohen was set to take on the role, but left the project due to ‘creative differences’. Ben Whishaw, was then mentioned as a possible replacement to play Freddie Mercury but later exited the project suggesting that the film was not progressing well and that there had been scripting problems.
The biopic focuses on the 15-year period from the formation of Queen and lead singer Freddie Mercury up to their performance at Live Aid in 1985, six years before Mercury’s death.
Bohemian Rhapsody hits cinemas in Australia on November 1.
