Peacock, Giant Bone, Sad Poo, a Kangaroo and Wrangas New Emojis For 2018

The iconic Aussie Kangaroo and Wrangas (a person with red hair) are just some of the possible new emojis planned for 2018.

For the lovers of guys with red hair, the redheads emoji has been the number one requested addition the international standards for emojis group have received for the last two years running.

Unicode Emoji Subcommittee member Jeremy Burge explained that “(Redhead) People felt like they were getting left out,”.

Other contenders include a frisbee, dynamite stick a giant bone and a peacock. The final emoji list for the year will be made at the Unicode Technical Meeting in January. Emojipedia writes that we can expect the new emojis “on major platforms in the second half of 2018.”

There is no telling how soon the giant bone and the peacock will be added to the unofficial list of inappropriate use of emojis to shorthand sexual innuendo in text conversation.
