Online Petition Calls For Christian Group To Be Listed As Terrorist Organisation

An online petition calling for 500 signatures to take to Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is asking for the government to list the group Christian Lives Matter as a terrorist organisation because of their frequent inciting of violence towards members of the LGTBI community in Australia.

The petition on reads:

The group “Christian Lives Matter” under the influence of Lyle Sheldon from the Australian Christian Lobby, have been frequently inciting violence against LGTBI in Australia. they have actively encouraged violent behaviour. It has become worse since Australia voted “yes” to marriage equality. Such examples where Sheldon and “Christian Lives Matter” with the help of Charlie Bakhos, who vandalised murals on private properties. They have called extremist religious groups to arms. So have various members of “Christian Lives Matter”, the words, verbatim, “a call to arms” against: LGTBI. Comments like “Lets bash them”, and “Lets organise some violence” and so on. This is the language and behaviour of a terrorist group. This is frightening many LGTBI in Sydney. Such fear is terror, thus, this is terrorism!
