Massive Security Flaw Exposed In Grindr App

If you logged into website C*ckblocked to see who has blocked you on dating app Grindr, guess what, you’ve inadvertently given out a large amount of your private data.

C*ckblocked website creator, Trevor Faden has revealed that of the nearly 50,000 users who signed into C*ckblocked in the space of a few days with their Grindr login, have given him access to their private data from within the app, including unread messages, deleted photos and user location data.

Faden has stated that he will not share the information collected in the massive security flaw.

The major concern of this breach is that any third party developer can expose the weaknesses in Grindr’s security to exploit unwitting victims, including any of the boasted 3 million daily users who use the app in 232 countries and territories where the unfettered access to the locations of gay men could see those where homosexuality is criminalised targeted.
