Keiynan Lonsdale: “Why is it deemed wrong to not wear clothes?”

Love Simon actor, Keiynan Lonsdale has shared a near-nude photo of himself on Instagram along with a positive message about self-confidence and defying negative perceptions of nudity.
“Why is it deemed wrong to not wear clothes?” Lonsdale writes, followed by the actor schooling negative social norms:
“We’ve been taught poorly, & groomed to hold shame for ourselves, our human bodies. No matter what we look like, each of us is made to feel incorrect inside our own physical form”.
Last month, Lonsdale posted a similar looking pic to Instagram showing off his body with the caption: “Why deny it”
Lonsdale has been on a path of self-acceptance since he came out as bisexual in 2017.
In his coming out message on Instagram he wrote:
“[I] Spent way too many years hating myself, thinking I was less valuable because I was different, which is just untrue,” he continued. “A couple years ago I was able to accept myself, & it saved my life, but now I’ve gotten to a new roadblock & I feel kind of lost. I gotta take the next step & actually embrace who I am, which is pretty exciting. ”
Self-body confidence and nudity seem to be the latest in Lonsdale’s quest for happiness, although the timing of the post could have something to do with reports that leaked nudes of the actor are popping up online.
