Gwyneth Paltrow Pushing Coffee Enemas Through Goop

File this under random stuff you can stick up your bum, as Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle website Goop has started promoting a DIY home coffee enema kit.

We’re hoping that someone had the foresight to write the standard “Contents May Be Hot” warning on the kit.

In an email sent out last week Goop subscribers we’re pitched the up-the-bum cup of Joe injection kit as part of the websites annual detox guide. Called the ‘Implant O’Rama’, it claims that a coffee enema can help with  “depression, confusion, general nervous tension, many allergy-related symptoms and, most importantly, relief from severe pain”.

The kit includes a glass bottle with a squeeze pump and two silicone catheters.

A coffee enema is described as a type of colon cleanse used in alternative medicine that involves inserting brewed coffee and water into the colon through the rectum.

BTW most medical experts warn against it, especially the medical journals that have documented multiple human deaths related to coffee enemas, and at least one individual who suffered rectal burns because the water used was too hot.

In saying that a coffee enema could be an interesting way to get your morning buzz, both for you and your rimming partner!
