Comedian Michael Henry Talks HIV Awareness

When comedian Michael Henry messaged saying that he was working on a video about HIV we hesitantly said that we looked forward to seeing it.
Known for his humorous outlook on gay society and culture, Michael explained his decision to create a video about the often taboo subject:
“I wanted to make this video because I felt like my friends and I never talked about HIV and I honestly felt uncomfortable bringing it up, so I decided to make a video where all I did was walk about HIV in hopes that it would reduce some discomfort.”
The video that has been online for a few days now has received a welcomed response.
“There hasn’t been any backlash. I was insanely nervous about making this video. I actually had this idea for about a year but was so scared that I would offend some people somehow just by talking about it. But I did do my research and talked to some of my friends who are positive and they reassured me that this was a good idea.”
