Celebrating Photographers: Chesterfield Hector’s Skin Tones

From Skin Tones

Described as a celebration of diversity in a beautiful coffee table book, photographer Chesterfield Hector is crowdfunding his latest photo book ‘Skin Tones’  on Kickstarter, funds rasied will be used for printing and shipping.

Chesterfield described his coffee table book to DNA as a collection of artistic portraits that aims to capture ethnic diversity featuring 40 models of varying skin tones and body types.

“Skin Tones is a photographic argument in favor of the belief that beauty comes in all shades and colors. As the world faces continuing ethnic turmoil and rising xenophobic attitudes, I wanted to introduce an artistic collection that celebrates diversity rather than rejects it. The 90-page book displays a range of skin tones from fair to deep and everywhere in between. Rather than a sharp divide between black and white, a beautiful gradient of colors and features is shared through this gorgeous coffee table book.”
