In an interview that aired on ABC current affairs panel show Insiders, North Queensland Federal MP Bob Katter has shared his view about voting on same-sex marriage in parliament,
“I mean, y’know, people are entitled to their sexual proclivities. Let there be a thousand blossoms bloom, as far as I’m concerned,” he said laughing.
Then things turned.
“But I AIN’T spendin’ any time on it, because in the mean time, every three months, a person is torn to pieces by a crocodile in North Queensland,” he spat.
The bizarre mid-sentence mood swing has Insiders host doubling over in laughter.
“So we should put the whole country on hold until we sort out that particular problem?” asked show host Barry Cassidy.
