The Australian Bureau of Statistics has released estimated figures of returned same-sex marriage postal ballots after the final return date cut off.
It is believed that 12.6 million Australians have returned their voluntary votes, which is approximately 78.5% of, eligible voters.
That’s almost 4 out of every 5 Australians who defeated all odds and proved as a nation that the majority of us still know how to post a letter!
The most recent Essential poll results show that 64 percent voted ‘Yes’ in the survey.
Now we wait for November 15 for the result.
