Threads:
Congratulations on a decade of excellence!! 10 wonderful years and I'm glad to say I've been a subscriber for about half of them. So many fine men, so many thought provoking articles, so much of interest. Here's to the next decade!!
With all the men I've seen in DNA I have to say that your cover boy on #121, Todd Sanfield is perhaps the closest to a "Mr Perfect" as I've ever seen/ Beautiful body, perfectly proportioned, not too overly done musclewise. What a choice for the big anniversary!
Congratulations....and thanks.

Tony Abbott is now the Opposition Leader in our Federal Parliament.
A staunch "Christian" with ultra-right tendencies, we really need to show some(legitimate) concern....
Now,more than any other time,it is imperative that the GLBTI community stands together as one to ensure he does not gain popularity with our "less enlightened" elements. Anyone remember Pauline Hanson????
With a Family First member of parliament having a tad too much power, and the Liberal party being in disaray, a little caution on our behalf could be a good thing.
So let's put down our own internal "differences" and keep an eye on what transpires over the coming months. Strength in Unity!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can Gay men be romantic or is it not in our nature? Are we just after the next trick? I believe we can be if we want something or someone enough. What are your thoughts.

I have often wondered how many gay couples there are just living quietly in the community, going about their daily lives without fuss and without needing the rest of the gay community. Also are they liked by their neibours and trusted as valued members of society?

It should be noticed that some of the ideas on DNA website are slightly odd.
In the scientific sense, apparently, the gay gene doesnt exist. It is a number of genes. And the colonial nature of monstrosities and filth are a pathological assumption.
I know this because I have suffered at the hands of these assumptions.
The only thing I really know is that I love my boyfriend and his partner (!). And the old assumptions of colonial ignorance and scientific arrogance no longer exist.
I hope this helps for many of you. But it really applies for the outback types, where they are truly in pain.
That is all I can really say. But I will understand if many do not understand this. Fear of science and anti-intellectualism are fine, but we need true freedom. Anti-semite assumtions also make this hard. I know a friend of mine who is a sculptor, and he is forty three years old.
As a kid I worshipped him as a hero, because he was attractive, young and made me feel good. The only reason this made things worse now for me is that typical colonial associations are now defunct and we all need to believe. He is an atheist, and that explains why we dont understand artistic types. He now works at the Adelaide museum so he is very much appreciated. He may very well be bi, but I dont know. He is very lovecraftian.
This is more applicable for Aboriginals mostly, because we have detrimentally damaged the nature of native Australia. The nature of the "Hobbit" fossil makes us realise that we one were subservient apes. I hope you understand!
Farewell and God bless.

Loved the Sexiest List 09. but
1) Why oh why was Kanye West in there and
2) Where was the full page spread of Zachary Quinto next to the full page spread of Chris Pine.
He definately deserved to be in there.

Hi,
Have just bought the new issue and agree with some of the choices. But don't gay men like TAylor lautner or Robert Pattinson. Has the whole Twilight thing excaped the gay population. As a horny and healthy gay man I find these two men very fine specimens of the male anatomy. I was a bit disappointed in them not making the cut. does anyone else agree with me?

I really feel Gay Men are somewhat obsessed with naked guys. Yeah it is okay to see a naked man occasionally but. All we seem gto see in the gay press are naked bodies spread over everywhere. Give me a clothed guy anyday. A guy in nice clothes to me is far more sexy than tos ee him naked. Tha's just me I guess. What do you think? Let me know your views.

Hey Guys,
Like many of you I love a hairy, masculine guy. The best I have seen lately is Darren Palmer from Channel 9's homeMADE. Darren is hot - with a nice hairy chest you just want to lick all over and biceps to die for.
Please DNA make Daz a cover model....

I must admit I do agree with MJL in DNA 115, burnt Toast. Scathing of us,but is right. We destroyed our gay scene in our pursuit of equality and acceptance. Show how pitiful, pathetic and paltry we are.
Perhaps we need to reinvent ourselves and prove to the world we too can have a good and robust gay scene like other countries.
Mardi Gras needs a massive rebirth. Has lost it's glamour and fun and what it is about. Time to show some strength of character and prove us gay men are not subservient people for mainstream society and do have a strong will to be recognised.

I would like to ask the other DNA guys out there if they have noticed the way that eBay has become very homophobic recently? I list gay related items in the UK (but sell worldwide) including postcards and have had many of them removed. EBay state that they are adult material and that ful fronal nudity is not allowed to be sold unless it is in the art section and not pornographic. The things I sell are not in any way offensive to anyone. They are images of beautiful guys, most of them clothed and the nude ones are art images which I dutifully listed in the art section as I was told to. I even had a postcard removed because it showed a guy's bulge through his tank top!
I have still had them removed from my listings. They will not explain exactly why they keep doing this, but I have noticed hundreds of images of naked women for sale on eBay which they don't seem to find a problem!
It has got so bad that I am not going to sell anything else on eBay as their attitude is disturbingly prejudiced.
I don't know whether this is just a UK problem or if any other eBay sites are as bad.
I have some very loyal customers who are horrified by this attitude from eBay.
They seem to be getting worse with their phobic attitudes.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I am really angry and disgusted with them!

OK firstly I really enjoyed the interview with Nick Youngquest, the guy has it goin on! Matt Woods - Hell yeah! But what really lit my fire is the guy (sleaze ball) pictured here! He may be nameless, he may be completely random, but he got me singing in places I never knew had a tune. I think I have found your next DNA cover boy! 11/10 for another great addition!
