Mate Of The Month, February '08: Evan Wade (The Wad)

Talk about the L Word.
Though it came as little surprise that the Evan juggernaut rolled over all and sundry to claim the ever-legendary Evan Wade his latest DNA title you should have seen our faces when our buddy, photographer Troy Phillips, sent us a note to say that the winner of Mate Of The Month, February '07, is actually Evan Wadle (note the L)!
Evan is listed across the internet - and across DNAmagazine.com.au - as Evan Wade and that's what most of his fans know him as. But he told us today - when we contacted him with the news of his win - that he doesn't mind the mixup at all.
"I actually think its pretty funny how my name is mostly misspelled as Evan Wade instead of Evan Wadle, and that somehow I'm from Britain, or that im a trainer in New York City at Equinox Gym," Evan said with a laugh. "I'm from New Jersey where i was born and raised, but i spend alot of time in NYC modeling and pursuing acting. And, as for my name, everyone who's known me since i was young has just called me The Wad: much easier."
He had this to say to DNAmagazine.com.au readers who voted him Mate Of The Month, February '08 which delivered him his second such title (an unprecedented feat):
"I wanna thank everyone at DNA Magazine for putting me in the contest and the readers for voting for me. Exposure like this is what helps someone like me get to do bigger and better things. I enjoy every second of this attention so by all means keep it up!"
"It's definitley very flattering to have won anything at all, something i appreciate a lot. However, looking at some of the other guys i'm not so sure i deserve it!"
