Photographer Kristopher Kelly has sent us all a gorgeous Valentine's Day present: Images from his shoot with the lovely Justin.

I met Justin on model mayhem. We chatted off and on for a month or so and had one major thing between us - distance. He is located in LA while I am based in NY. Luckily I was traveling to LA for work (I don't just photograph) and we were able to set up a late night shoot at the hotel I was staying at. It's always a little nerve racking when working with a model you've never met. My goal was to produce a shoot less "sexy boy model" and both Justin and I think we accomplished that.
Prior to Justin's arrival I spent time going through each of the shots I wanted to take - was even drawing stick figures on paper and notes about light. I knew we were pressed for time and wanted to make sure we wasted none. You do learn as much as you can prepare you often sway from your original goals. I do believe here that we were close and often dead on.
A few of my favorite images in this shoot are Justin hanging off the bed and in the shower holding the curtain. Once the camera started clicking Justin started moving. He is quite comfortable in front of the camera.
