America's Most Smartest Model is a new VH1 reality TV show in search of clever models. As the cheeky title suggests, it's more of an excuse to laugh at how dumb a lot of the models are, even when they think they're being clever. In the first episode, for example, a model who boasts about her international travel then instructs her peers that the official language of Australia is Italian.
Anyway, one of the contestants is the lovely Andre Birleanu, from Moscow. Andre's parents were diplomats, he was raised in Romania, and says he speaks 5 languages. He was discovered while fixing his bike on the street and has modeled for Converse and Saks Fifth Avenue.
Andre definitely has a bit of an Evan Wade look happening - is he a potential front runner in Spunk Of The Month, October '07?

I'm sure the producers of the "AMSM" show told him that he had to act like a selfish, ignorant, emotionally unstable brat, just to spice things up a bit. But the way it comes across so convincingly, and completely, he's either the best actor since Sir Laurence Olivier, or he's actually like that in real life. And the anorexic look doesn't add to his excuse that it's caused by calorie-starved fits of rage.
