Australian Idol 2007: The Final 12

DNA will be following Australian Idol 2007 from the first performance show to the final night at the Opera House. We'll be blogging live each Sunday and Monday night about what's happening on the show, and you'll be able to join in this Idol chat! We'll be blogging from backstage some nights and chatting to the contestants and well, you never know when Dicko or Andrew G might pop up either.
So, tune in here when Idol's on the telly on Sundays and Mondays and watch out for our special Idol features that well be running over the length of the 2007 Idol season.
This year's competition is very male-heavy, and we can't say we're disappointed with that. Past Idols Anthony Callea and Shannon Noll are DNA favourites, with Anthony one of your 2007 Sexiest Men Alive, and Nollsy voted a hottie in this weeks Hot Or Not? poll.
There are 7 guys in competition this year, and at least a couple of them made us touch/down. These poor guys have hardly sang a note, but that doesn’t stop us voting based on looks – isn’t that how this whole thing works anyway?

I've given up watching Idol but hellooooooo eye candy! Where did Ben and Matt come from? And Carl's quite the spunky muffin too isn't he? Guess I'll have to tune in now. What a way to boost ratings, the more hot guys they put on, the bigger the audience gets. Well, gay audience at least...

Anthony is most definitely my all time Idol hottie & always will be as far as I'm concerned. (Although, Matt & Daniel keep catching my eye for some strange, inexpicable reason. Wink. Wink.)

Anthony Callea never really did it for me, and I can't say I've really liked any of his songs. The only idol that I've liked enough so far to actually go out and purchase anything from them was Rikki-Lee. Like I said earlier I think Carl is a hottie this year and I like his voice and type of music enough that I'd purchase an album of his too.
