Gay Edinburgh And Glasgow

Date: 15-Mar-2017

The vibrant gay scene in Edinburgh is neatly contained in what the locals call The Pink Triangle.

The major bars, clubs and cafés are all within strolling distance around the city centre. The ever-popular clubs like CC Blooms and Infinity rub shoulders with cool smaller venues like Café Habana, The Street and Café Nom De Plume. Like most of the UK, pubs play an important part in the local community and there’s a seemingly endless number of gay-friendly ones to visit and sample the ales.

Getting hot and sweaty with sexy northerners is easy at saunas like Steamworks and Number 18. May is Gay Pride festival time but the world-famous Edinburgh Festival in August is an explosion of arts, music and comedy is an exceptional time to visit. Search “gay-friendly hotels” in Edinburgh and you’ll find a great range of accommodation options.

Wanna dance? Glasgow is not just a stunning cultural capital, it’s also the dance club capital of the north. AXM offers two floors of pumping pop and dance with special guests, international DJs and sexy boys spinning around. (Maybe allowing a glimpse up the kilt!) Meanwhile, NMFA (No More F-ing ABBA) offers an alternative and indie dance space.

There are literally dozens of gay-friendly bars and clubs including The Polo Lounge, Delmonicas and The Underground. When the time comes, Pipeworks is the sauna to visit. Its popular, friendly and a huge with a range of facilities available.
