The French do things differently. To promote the 2007 Rugby World Cup - which they're hosting - they shipped in tonnes of sand to create a beach out front of one of Paris' most opulent hotels, and then sent out their hunky best to play rugby all day without any shirts on. Previously, the Cup was promoted with a great ad campaign that had beefy rugger buggers pashing while locked down in a scrum (pictured) to remind all that Paris is the City of Love. And we thought we were being really out there when we put drag queens in our Olympics Closing Ceremony.
